The rising stem wedge gate valve is one of the common shut-off valves. The valve stem is exposed and the gate is wedge-shaped. It is mainly used to connect or cut off the medium in the pipeline, and is not suitable for regulating the flow of the medium. The movement direction of the opening and closing parts of the gate valve is perpendicular to the flow direction of the medium, the fluid resistance is small, and the applicable pressure and temperature range are large.

Performance characteristics
1) The internal medium channel of the gate valve body is straight, and the medium does not change its flow direction when it flows through the gate valve, so the flow resistance is small;
2) When opening and closing, the movement direction of the gate is perpendicular to the flow direction of the medium, and the opening and closing of the gate valve is relatively labor-saving;
3) The medium can flow in any direction from both sides of the gate valve, which can achieve the purpose of connecting or cutting off, which is easy to install, and is suitable for pipelines where the flow direction of the medium may change;
4) There is a guiding mechanism on the valve body of the gate valve, which can prevent the gate from rotating when opening or closing, so as to ensure the corresponding alignment of the sealing surface, and make the gate not rub against the valve seat before reaching the closed position, thereby reducing the sealing surface wear;
5) The valve stem is exposed, and the opening of the valve can be seen from the height, which is convenient and quick.
6) The gate is wedge-shaped, the more the pressure is, the tighter the pressure is on both sides, the two-way sealing, and the sealing performance is good.
7) The valve drive is a hand wheel, which can be replaced by: pneumatic, electric, gear transmission, corresponding models are: Z641H/W, Z941H/W, Z541H/W.
